Explore Our Rooms

Baby Room
6 Weeks - 12 Months

In this room, we strive to create a cosy and nurturing environment that feels just like home for the little ones. Our dedicated staff closely observe and evaluate the children's progress, focusing on the key areas of learning and development outlined in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). These areas include Personal, Social and Emotional Development (PSED), Communication and Language (CL), and Physical Development (PD).

The children in this room engage in a wide range of activities designed to stimulate their senses and promote learning. From exploring different textures during sensory play to discovering new things through treasure baskets, mirror play for recognising facial expressions, and enjoying picture books, there is always something exciting happening.

Most importantly, the babies in our care form strong and positive relationships with their assigned key person, ensuring that they have plenty of fun and enjoyment while they grow and learn.

Toddler Room
1 year to 3 years

In this room, we have children aged 1-3 years who are encouraged to follow routines and start developing their own unique personalities. They have a cosy space where they can relax with their favourite books, a corner for imaginative play, and a creative area for drawing, messy play, sand and water play, and play-doh. They also have access to table top activities and many other fun activities.

They also have access to the garden and outdoor environment, which allows the children to explore both the indoor and outdoor areas.

Our staff focuses on all seven areas of learning and development within the EYFS. They observe and assess the children through play and planned activities that are based on their individual interests.

Toddlers aged 2 years to 4 years may be entitled to 15 to 30 hours free child care.

Pre-school Room
3 years to 5 years

In this room, we encourage the children to become more independent and develop their self-help skills. We provide a variety of activities to prepare them for school.

These activities include role-play, mathematical development, imaginative play, and outdoor play.

We also focus on helping the children develop their speaking and listening skills, following simple instructions, building relationships with others, understanding rules and boundaries, and managing their emotions. By participating in these activities, the children are able to develop their own unique personalities and get ready for their next steps in their learning journey. We also try introduce new foods to your child to push them to try new textures and flavours.

They also have the opportunity to benefit from both indoor and outdoor activities, with a large outdoor area available for physical play.

Our staff carefully observe and assess the children's progress in the seven areas of learning and development outlined in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, all while they engage in play.

Sensory room

Our sensory room is a calm space devoted to relaxing and developing the senses. Unlike a regular classroom, where each pupil is mostly expected to listen to the teacher, a sensory room provides children with the autonomy and freedom to analyse the self environment using their senses in their time.

Our sensory room has a soft seating arrangement and a wide variety of interesting things to assess, and also contains multi-sensory equipment including:

  • Interactive wall panels

  • Sensory lighting

  • Beanbag chair

  • Activity mats

  • Art equipment
